Just a brief post....
Here on a trip of a lifetime - suitcase now unpacked, gifts waiting for exchange, full of anticipation of the week.
This trip marks the highest point of YMCA journey having arrived at the lowest point when I became homeless. It has been a rocky road. However hopefully we will soar to new heights together, all 1300 delegates worldwide, to bring to a greater opportunity for youth empowerment globally via the YMCA.
It is an amazing experience to be with such a large international family of brothers & sisters who all share the same vision. I'm sure all our voices shouting from the mountain top will wake the sleeping giant.
So the YMCA has shaped my future & now the Y's future is in our hands & hearts!!
