'Global Link' is the new 'tag' which indicates that the activity discussed on this blog is part of YMCA England's strategy for improving the connectedness of the English YMCA Movement with the rest of the global YMCA Family.
During July there are two groups of young people attending events in other parts of the world. Both events are related to Peace, Reconciliation and Diversity. Seven young people will participate in a 10 day seminar on the topic of Dialogue in Diversity. This is an initiative within the YMCA known as 'the School of Peace' and on this occasion is being hosted by the YMCA Movement in Bangladesh and run by the 'Interfaith Cooperation Forum' made up of the 'Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCA's' and 'The Christian Conference of Asia'.
This is a new partnership which has been established in conjunction with YMCA England and City of Bradford YMCA have taken the 'lead partner' role in this.
I will say more about the second group who are attending a seminar in the Czech Republic later in the month.
