I said earlier I would post some additional information about the gig in the Czech Republic.
YMCA Europe has been successful is securing funding from the European Youth In Action Programme to bring together young people from across Europe. They will join together with others from around the globe to participate in a seminar on Peace & Reconciliation for six days.
The young people from the YMCA Movement in England will attend from West Bromwich, Bolton, Staffordshire, Cityof London, Hornsey and Winchester. The will be joined by young people from Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Kosovo, Nagorno Karabagh, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain and USA.
During June 2011 YMCA Europe General Assembly approved our new strategy for the next five years. One of the key themes is to promote 'Peace Justice and Democracy'. This seminar is the first event in achieving that goal.
